OUR SERVICES
Navigation & Ship Technology provides professional and personal training for commercial shipping. We focus on shipping companies and authorities that need to train a group of employees. Over the years, the Rescue Service, the Security Police, the Armed Forces, archipelago entrepreneurs, training providers and shipping companies from Malmö in the south to Luleå in the north have hired our services for professional, personal and tailor-made educations.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINER FOR ARCHIPELAGO SHIPPING
Reserve a professional instructor who comes to your room and completes the course. We can help with Ship Officer Class VIII, Engine Officer Class VIII, Safety Courses for Fishermen, Operation of Fast Vessels and Basic Safety, Flammable Hot Work, CPR and more. Since 2009 we have among other things educated personnel within the Rescue Service, the Security Police, the Armed Forces and shipping company from Luleå in the north to Malmö in the south.
BOOK EXAMINATION SHIP COMMAND AND MACHINE COMMAND CLASS VIII
Here you can book tests for Ship Officer Class VIII and Engine Officer Class VIII. We is off Chalmers University of Technology approved degree administrator for both Ship Officer Class VIII and Engine Officer Class VIII.
For groups of at least five participants, we come to you. Less than five participants book an appointment with us at Jungfrusund, Ekerö.
We can arrange tests all over Sweden.
BOOK YOUR OWN BOAT COACH FOR YOURS EGNA BOAT

Have you acquired a new boat and need help learning the boat and system on board? Maybe you want to be safer on maneuvering a certain type of boat. We comes to you and then we train and practice on board your boat until you are satisfied. Each arrangement of training on board your own boat planned and tailored to each case.
ABOUT NAVIGATION & SHIPPING TECHNIQUES
After 10 years as an employee in the Armed Forces, it was time to move on with a civilian career. My time in the Armed Forces gave me invaluable experience and knowledge of smaller ships in an archipelago environment.

Competitions in boat racing both nationally and internationally have given me a new perspective on what you can do with a boat when it comes to settings, optimization and driving technique on ships with planing hulls.

In 2007 my quality system was approved by the Swedish Maritime Administration and today I am the training provider for courses in Handling fast ships and various safety courses for both large and small shipping.
​
When I started with courses in Handling fast ships, there was no course literature. I therefore wrote a book on the subject that can be used in training in fast ships.
​
Since 2018, I have been the examiner for Chalmers University of Technology in both Ship Officer Class VIII and Engine Officer Class VIII.
